The viral momentum of Bairan by Banjaare continues to grow as Punjabi singer-songwriter Simiran Kaur Dhadli joins the musical conversation with a compelling verse, offering a fresh emotional perspective to the widely loved track. The newly released verse expands the song’s narrative, transforming Bairan into a cross-regional musical dialogue that resonates beyond linguistic boundaries.

“Bairan” by Banjaare tops the charts, giving a boost to the popularity of the track and solidifying the position of the popular track as a global hit. The popular track by Banjaare has managed to occupy the #1 position on Spotify’s Viral Songs Global and #1 on Spotify’s Viral Songs India, as well as #1 on Spotify’s Top Songs India and #1 on Billboard India, showing how emotional regional music is breaking linguistic and geographical barriers at a rapid pace.

Known for her unapologetic storytelling and emotionally charged music, Simiran’s addition to this song provides a new perspective that is a contrast to the original, yet maintains the raw essence that made this song so popular. The unexpected crossover between the Punjabi and Haryanvi music scene has given rise to a lot of conversations, signalling a growing shift in India’s independent music landscape where artists from different regions are collaborating and engaging with each other's narratives, audiences, and culture.

Speaking about the collaboration, Simiran Kaur Dhadli said, “Bairan carried a raw honesty that immediately connected with me. I felt there was another emotional side to the story that needed a voice, and the reply verse came instinctively from that space. Collaborations like this show how regional music is no longer confined by language; it’s driven by emotion and authenticity. When a song is real, it travels everywhere, and Bairan is proof of how deeply people connect with honest storytelling.”

Banjaare said, “When we created Bairan, we never imagined the kind of love and connection it would receive from listeners across regions. Watching the song grow and resonate with so many people has been incredibly humbling. Collaborating with an artist like Simiran Kaur Dhadli brought a whole new emotional dimension to the track; her perspective added depth and took the song to another level. Moments like this show how music evolves when artists come together and let the story expand beyond one voice.”

Bairan continues to rise in popularity, and this song is now more than a song; it is a narrative that is moving beyond regions, linguistic barriers, and perspectives, all through the emotion-driven storytelling.

CHANDIGARH, 20th March 2026: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab State General Secretary and Media Incharge Baltej Pannu turned the ‘beadbi’ (sacrilege) debate back on Shiromani Akali Dal Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, calling him out for attempting to rewrite Punjab’s history to deflect blame. He pointed out that all the most controversial cases trace back to the Akali regime, adding that, faced with growing political irrelevance, Sukhbir Singh Badal is now trying to revive his career by shifting blame onto others, a move the people of Punjab can clearly see through.

Hitting back strongly, AAP Punjab State Media Incharge Baltej Pannu stated, “By holding the AAP government responsible for incidents of 'beadbi' (sacrilege), Sukhbir Singh Badal is making a failed attempt to save his political ground, but he has forgotten that the people of Punjab are well aware of his reality.”

Questioning his claims, Baltej Pannu said, “Sukhbir Singh Badal says incidents of 'beadbi' began in Punjab after AAP came to power. Perhaps he has forgotten that in 1986, when the Sri Guru Granth Sahib was desecrated in Nakodar and four youths demanding justice were martyred, whose government was in power in Punjab? Was the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab at that time? The people of Punjab have not forgotten which forces were behind that bloody episode.”

Referring to the 2015 incidents, he continued, “Who was in power when the sacred saroop of Guru Granth Sahib was stolen from Burj Jawahar Singh Wala in June 2015? The desecration of the stolen bir took place in October 2015. During this entire period, the Badal family was in power in Punjab. Was there an AAP government in Punjab at that time?” The truth is that it was your government that patronised the culprits.”

Citing police action and subsequent developments, he added that at Kotkapura’s Chowk, police carried out brutality on peacefully protesting sangat, and during the firing at Behbal Kalan, two innocent Sikhs were martyred. The reports of the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission and the Justice Zora Singh Commission clearly point towards who the real faces behind these incidents were. Today, Sukhbir Singh Badal himself is out on bail in the Kotkapura case. Along with him, Sumedh Saini, Charanjit Sharma, and Umranangal are also out on bail, which stands as testimony to the dark deeds of that regime.

Baltej Pannu said, “The Akali Dal’s rule from 2007 to 2017 is a dark chapter in Punjab’s history. No one else but Sukhbir Singh Badal and his party are responsible for pushing Punjab into an era of drugs, corruption, and 'beadbi'. To escape their responsibilities, they are now making baseless allegations against AAP, but the people of Punjab will never forget or forgive them.”

Chandigarh, March 20, 2026 : The Aam Aadmi Party today organized large-scale screenings across Punjab, showing the video report of independent journalist Dhruv Rathee to the public, in which the alleged fake liquor scam case fabricated by the BJP government has been completely exposed on the basis of facts. Through this campaign, the party has made an effort to take the truth to the court of the people.

The Aam Aadmi Party set up large screens in various cities and villages across Punjab to show the video report of well-known independent journalist Dhruv Rathee to the general public. In this video, Dhruv Rathee has clearly demonstrated, on the basis of facts and evidence, how the BJP-led central government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah together fabricated a completely false and fake liquor scam case with the intention of defaming Aam Aadmi Party leaders and politically targeting them.

It is noteworthy that the Hon’ble court had also dismissed the alleged liquor scam case, clearly stating that the case was fabricated. This decision of the court further strengthened the fact that the BJP government had created the entire case purely as a political conspiracy.

In his video report, Dhruv Rathee explained in detail how this entire case was part of a well-planned conspiracy by the BJP to curb the rising popularity of the Aam Aadmi Party and to weaken democracy by implicating its leaders in false cases.

With the aim of placing all these facts before the court of the people, the Aam Aadmi Party carried out this campaign across the state today. There is strong resentment among the people against this conspiracy of the BJP, and people expressed their support for the Aam Aadmi Party.

National 18th March, 2026: Regional music isn’t waiting for the spotlight anymore, it’s taking lead. After weeks of dominating viral charts, playlists, reels and listener loops, the viral hit Sheesha (Aakhya Mai Aakh Ghali Jo Beran) by Mitta Ror & Swara Verma now has its music-awaited official music video featuring Sorab Bedi and Niharika Tiwari!

Written and composed by Mitta Ror, with Swara Verma’s standout vocals, produced by Yeah Ishwar and directed by Teji Sandhu, Sheesha has steadily grown from a regional release into one of the most talked about songs in the country. The video builds that momentum matching the track’s signature energy into a story that feels just as immersive as music itself.

At the centre of the video are Rajma Chawal and Tikhi Mirchi, a.k.a. Sorab Bedi and Niharika Tiwari, a pairing that audiences have already been rooting for online. As fan edits featuring the two began circulating widely with the track, the song’s viral moment organically emerged with their on-screen chemistry. Picking up on that wave, the official music video now brings them together, turning what fans imagined into a fully realised visual treat!

The chart numbers tell their own story. Sheesha currently sits at #2 on the Spotify India Charts and #3 on the Billboard India charts, marking its continued dominance across platforms. It has sparked over 1.8 million IG reels, becoming a go-to sound across social media, clocking 40+ million streams on Spotify and over 40 million views on YouTube, alongside 1+ million YouTube Shorts. With the video now in play, the track is only getting bigger.

Driving this moment is Mitta Ror, one of the emerging voices pushing Haryanvi pop into a global phenomenon. His music blends the rawness of regional storytelling with contemporary beats, creating a sound that feels both grounded and widely relatable. Alongside him, Swara Verma’s vocals bring a distinct presence to Sheesha, adding both texture and recall to a track that has clearly struck a chord with listeners.

Speaking about the video release, Mitta Ror shares, “I am so overwhelmed with all the love I’ve received for Sheesha. When we were making it, I didn’t think how big it would get, I was just being true to the song. The love it has received across India has been unreal, it shows that language is no barrier when the vibe connects. The video is our way of giving the song a face and a story. It just felt like the right next step.”

Sharing his excitement, Sorab Bedi says, “It’s honestly crazy because so many people associate me with Sheesha and if it feels like my track at this point. So being a part of the official music video alongside Niharika just felt the right fit. The track has a certain emotion to it, it stays with you and getting to bring Mitta Ror’s visions and energy to life on screen is quite special.”

“I had been seeing so many edits with Sheesha even before the shoot, so there was already that connection with the song. When this came together, it felt very organic. It’s one of those tracks that puts you in a mood and I think the video captures that feeling very well”, adds Niharika Tiwari

With the official video out now, Sheesha continues to grow beyond its viral moment shaping up to be one of the biggest breakout hits in the country and a clear sign of how regional sounds are leading India’s current music wave.

CHANDIGARH, 19 March 2026: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab State Media In-charge and General Secretary Baltej Pannu on Thursday questioned the deafening silence of Congress, Akali Dal, and BJP leaders after Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann placed evidence-backed facts showing that Rajasthan owes Punjab ₹1.44 lakh crore under the 1920 water agreement. He said that for decades, parties that ruled Punjab compromised its rights and today have no answers as the truth stands exposed before the people.

AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu said, “Ever since Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann presented evidence-backed facts that under the 1920 agreement, Rajasthan owes Punjab ₹1.44 lakh crore in lieu of water received since 1960, why have leaders of Congress, Akali Dal, and BJP, who ruled for 70 years, are silent on this matter? These parties have no answers to the questions being asked by the people.”

Targeting BJP Punjab President Sunil Jakhar, he stated, “Jakhar Sahib, the same leaders who were once in Congress with you are now sitting with you in BJP, those who carried ‘golden and silver tools’ to dig canals through Punjab’s chest and divert its waters to other states. Why are you silent on those betrayals today? The people of Punjab understand the meaning of your silence very well.”

He further stated that the same traditional parties that had pushed Punjab to the brink of becoming barren have been countered by the Bhagwant Mann government, which has revived the state within just four years. “While earlier only 22% canal water reached the fields, today, due to the efforts of the Mann government, that figure has increased to 78%. Not only this, canals and distributaries that were buried by previous governments in collusion with the land mafia are now being revived. The restoration of the buried ‘Lambi Canal’ stands as a living example of this,” he added.

Baltej Pannu added, “Opposition parties and leaders are troubled by new developments because their old conspiracies and betrayals buried beneath the soil have now come to light. Those who looted and exploited Punjab for 70 years and sold its rights to other states have now been exposed.”

Reaffirming the commitment of the AAP Government, he said, “As long as CM Bhagwant Singh Mann is in office, every single penny and every right of Punjab will remain fully protected.”

DHURI, 17 March 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday said India would have looked very different had Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh been the country’s first Prime Minister, questioning why, even after decades of independence, the nation remains trapped in an outdated system for which revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh and Kartar Singh Sarabha laid down their lives. He asserted that it is “writing on the wall” that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will return to power in Punjab in 2027, as fulfilling all guarantees within four years has left the Opposition without any issue to face the people.

The Chief Minister asserted while the Opposition remains busy fighting for power after having “looted Punjab turn by turn”, his government is committed to securing the rights of people, adding that Punjab has not forgotten the sacrifice of 750 farmers who lost their lives during the agitation against the Centre’s three farm laws.

Addressing a gathering after dedicating the newly constructed Sub Divisional Hospital, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “It is a writing on the wall that owing to several people-friendly decisions, the AAP will again form the government in the state,” said CM Bhagwant Singh Mann. He added, “People of Punjab are eagerly ready to constitute the AAP government again after the ensuing Vidhan Sabha polls in 2027. After assuming charge in 2022 from the native village of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, our government took several people-friendly decisions. We have already fulfilled all our promises in four years and in the coming one year we will take the state to a new zenith.”

Emphasising a shift in governance, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “We have started a new tradition in politics by completing all promises in four years, whereas parties are not able to do so in five years. From day one, our government is cleaning the mess made by the previous regimes and we are not hesitant to take bold decisions for the welfare of the common man.” He added, “Now again the Congress and Badals are seeking another chance to plunder the state whereas the state has already suffered a lot in their hands.”

Highlighting public sentiment, he said, “The wise people of the state will never give them another chance and they will be sent to political oblivion after the polls.” CM Bhagwant Singh Mann added, “Those leaders who had patronized the drug trade were put behind bars. These leaders not only patronized drug trade across the state but even sold and supplied drugs in their official government vehicles. Previously no one had ever dared to arrest these affluent leaders, but our government has done so and now they are paying the price for their sins.”

Calling out collusion, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “An unholy nexus prevailed between these political parties as they were hand in glove with each other to loot the wealth of the state. When in power, these parties used to save each other by turning a blind eye towards their misdeeds. However, the AAP government ensured that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are put behind bars.”

Taking aim at Opposition leaders, he said, “Even today they are one and Charanjit Singh Channi, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Captain Amarinder Singh, Sukhbir Singh Badal and others have joined the chorus to target me. Earlier these leaders used to mock me by labeling me as an entertainer, but now they chant my name day and night out of fear.” He added, “In 2017, when AAP got several seats and became Opposition, they said nothing will happen. In 2022 they said nothing will happen, but our government took several path-breaking initiatives. Now again they say nothing will happen in 2027, but AAP will form the government again with a thumping majority.”

On the Opposition’s failure, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The entire opposition has never raised a single real issue concerning the people both inside and outside the Vidhan Sabha. This reflects that they are only concerned about their own positions as they are only interested in power.” He added, “Desperate to attain power, the Akali Dal is posting AI-generated videos about me on social media to mislead people. This shows that in dearth of any issue against me they are baffled and making futile attempts to attain power.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Traditional political parties are envious because they are not able to digest that the son of a common man is governing the state effectively. People have lost faith in them due to their anti-people and anti-Punjab stance, which is why they were ousted in 2022.”

Continuing, he said, “These parties are resorting to cheap gimmicks to mislead the people. Earlier they were welcomed with garlands but now people greet them with defeat wherever they go. People have elected sons and daughters of common man who are performing their duties zealously, whereas these traditional parties failed miserably when they were in power.”

On past governance, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “These leaders plundered the resources of the state for their vested political interests. While Punjab was facing unemployment, brain drain and corruption, these leaders were busy minting money illegally. They built palaces and business empires at the cost of the people and the state.” He added, “They have sown thorns for Punjab and its younger generations by derailing its progress and prosperity. Their hands are drenched in this crime and history will never forgive them for backstabbing Punjab.”

He further said, “These leaders are frustrated because we have exposed their ugly faces before the people and have become a threat to their power. They cannot digest that common people are now getting positions.” Taking a swipe at the Badals, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “They ruined businesses by luring people with false promises. It is said that if you write ‘Badal’ on a tree, it will dry up.”

Invoking Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh in detail, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Bhagat Singh was born in 1907, on 28 September, and was martyred on 23 March 1931 at just 23 and a half years of age. He fought for the country’s freedom and to drive out the British. His way was different because he was young and aggressive, while others like Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi had their own approaches. But later, we reduced his legacy to merely offering flowers once a year on 23 March.”

He added, “If Bhagat Singh had lived, or had been given the opportunity to lead after Independence, the entire direction of the country would have been different. He had written extensively, his jail letters and writings were like a manifesto. He had said that he was not worried about whether independence would come or not, because it would come, but he was concerned about who would rule the country after independence.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann further said, “Sixteen years after his martyrdom, the country became independent. By 1952, when the first elections were held, Bhagat Singh would have been around 45 years old. He should have been the first Prime Minister of the country. The entire map and destiny of the nation would have been different if Bhagat Singh had led India.”

He continued, “He had already warned that after independence, power should not go into the wrong hands. Unfortunately, the same happened. Even after 80 years, we are still trapped in the same old system, the same patwari-tehsil structure, and people are still struggling for basic needs like jobs and services.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Just as Mahatma Gandhi was called Bapu, Jawaharlal Nehru was called Chacha and Chaudhary Devi Lal was called Tau, I consider myself a son and brother of the people.” He added, “Traditional political parties have damaged the country. Congress shaped symbols for itself, while others used religion to seek votes, and people trusted them.”

On drugs, he said, “These parties destroyed generations of Punjab by pushing drugs into the veins of youth. Those responsible are now making hollow claims to mislead people, but they can never be forgiven.” He added, “It is not money but deeds that earn a place in people’s hearts, and we have worked tirelessly for public welfare.”

Listing achievements, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The AAP government has started Mukh Mantri Mawan Dhian Satkar scheme under which women above 18 years of age from general category will receive ₹1000 per month and women from SC category will receive ₹1500. This is a mark of respect for mothers and daughters and their smiles give me satisfaction.”

On employment, he said, “We want to put tiffins in the hands of youth so they stay away from drugs. Idle hands are the devil’s workshop, so we are ensuring maximum employment. So far more than 65,000 government jobs have been provided.”

On infrastructure and agriculture, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Power tariffs have been reduced across all sectors. Canal water usage has increased from 21% to 68% and will reach 85% by next paddy season. Around 18,349 water courses spanning 6900 km have been revived and ₹6500 crore has been spent to strengthen the canal system.”

He added, “For the first time, 1365 villages are receiving canal water. Work is underway on more than 49,000 km of rural roads at a cost of ₹16,209 crore.”

On education, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Schools of Eminence have been established with modern infrastructure, smart classrooms and labs. Teachers and principals are being sent abroad for training. Punjab has ranked first in the National Achievement Survey, surpassing Kerala.” He added, “Students are receiving coaching for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CLAT and NIFT, and many have qualified from government schools.”

On healthcare, he said, “Under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, all 65 lakh families are eligible for cashless treatment up to ₹10 lakh. Punjab has become the first state to provide free healthcare to all citizens, with 881 Aam Aadmi Clinics providing daily treatment.”

He further said, “Around 90% households are receiving free electricity. Farmers are getting more than eight hours of uninterrupted daytime power during paddy season. Tariffs have been reduced by 70 paise to ₹1.50 per unit, and the government has purchased a private thermal plant and named it after Sri Guru Amar Das Ji.”

Concluding, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “My sole agenda is the progress of Punjab and prosperity of its people. I am indebted to the people of Dhuri and will leave no stone unturned for the holistic development of this region.

Cabinet Ministers Aman Arora, Harpal Singh Cheema, Dr Balbir Singh and Barinder Goyal were also present on the occasion.
