On World Theatre Day, actress Sheena Chohan reflects on a journey that began when she was just two years old. Introduced to the stage in Calcutta by her aunt, she made her first appearance as a baby performer—an early spark that would grow into a lifelong passion. Her formative years in theatre deepened when she played Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Padatik, where she began honing her craft with discipline and dedication.

After moving to The Lawrence School, Kasauli, Sheena continued performing, appearing in her first school play alongside Yuvraj Singh, grandson of Pran. Over time, she took part in more than a dozen productions, including musicals and performances that integrated her training in dance and martial arts. These experiences taught her how to fully inhabit characters—understanding their emotional depth and internal worlds.

Her move to Delhi marked another significant phase, where she trained and performed under noted theatre practitioner Arvind Gaur. Through numerous street theatre productions, she learned to connect directly with audiences, bringing stories to life in raw and immediate ways.

This strong theatrical foundation eventually led her to cinema, where she debuted alongside Mammootty and later worked with acclaimed filmmaker Buddhadev Dasgupta. From projects like Netflix’s Ant Story to her Hindi debut Sant Tukaram, Sheena has carried the discipline and emotional authenticity of theatre into every screen performance.

“Dear Theatre,
You have been my greatest teacher, shaping how I approach every character, every scene, and every performance. From you, I learned how to truly understand and inhabit a character—how to research, build their world, and bring authenticity to every gesture, every word. You taught me professionalism, discipline, and the art of submitting myself completely to the story, so I can be a blank page for my directors, ready to bring their visions to life. Every role I perform carries your lessons—the patience, the depth, the humility, and the love for the craft. You gave me the foundation to connect deeply with my characters, to honor the story, and to be a vessel for the imagination of every filmmaker and director I work with. For this, I am endlessly grateful.” Said Sheena, penning a heartfelt note to the theatre.

Arvind Gaur, Sheena’s theatre guru under whom she trained—who also trained actors like Kangana Ranaut and under whom Sheena trained for five years and performed in numerous street plays at the in Delhi, and working in over a dozen plays like Gandhi and Ambedkar, as Sarojini Naidu, to Ek Mamooli Aadmi, recently came to watch her Bollywood debut in Sant Tukaram, marking a full circle from her theatre journey to her first film.

Arvind Gaur said: “Sheena ki dedication aur craft ke liye commitment use bahut door le jayegi. Maine unke saath theatre mein director ke roop mein kaam kiya hai aur unhe har film mein grow karte dekha hai. She’s honest, disciplined, professional, completely devoted to her craft, and a true joy to work with—she commits fully to every character and brings the director’s vision to life with focus, passion, and ease.”

Continuing to stay rooted in theatre, Sheena recently performed Laila Majnu at Prithvi Theatre and NCPA Mumbai with Surnai Theatre, led by Ila Arun. Her journey stands as a testament to theatre’s enduring influence in shaping her craft and artistry—fueling her passion, discipline, and connection to storytelling.

As Panchhi 2 has now been released, Chaupal brings back one of its most talked-about original characters — Panchhi — but without revealing much about where his story is headed this time.

The character, first introduced a few years ago, stood out for not fitting into the mould of a conventional lead. Panchhi was emotional, flawed, and often unpredictable, which made him relatable to audiences. With the sequel, that same complexity returns, but in a narrative that chooses to hold back its full picture.

Led by Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Panchhi 2 places the character in a situation that begins simply — a phone call, a familiar voice, and a connection that feels real. However, as the story progresses, that simplicity starts to give way to doubt and uncertainty, with relationships and circumstances becoming increasingly difficult to understand.

Aarushi Sharma and Naiqra Dhillon play key roles in shaping this journey. Their characters add emotional depth to the narrative, while also contributing to the tension that builds as Panchhi’s world begins to shift.

As part of the film’s promotions, Prince Kanwaljit Singh and Naiqra Dhillon are currently in Sydney, taking Panchhi 2 to international audiences. The overseas promotions highlight the growing reach of the film and reflect Chaupal’s efforts to connect with viewers beyond its core market.

What sets Panchhi 2 apart is its decision to keep its central twist undisclosed. The film does not reveal its core conflict upfront, allowing the story to unfold gradually and keeping the audience engaged without giving away too much before release.

For Chaupal, this sequel is another step in strengthening its original content slate. The platform has been consistently working towards telling stories that feel rooted yet engaging, and Panchhi 2 continues that approach while exploring a more layered narrative.

With the first film still holding recall among viewers, the return of Panchhi brings both familiarity and curiosity — making the question even stronger this time: who is Panchhi, and what is it about his story that remains hidden?

Panchhi 2 is now streaming exclusively on Chaupal.

Mumbai, March 2026: Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi follows the journey of Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), a young woman who stands strong for her siblings through life’s toughest challenges. As the show moves towards the custody of her siblings, the battle intensifies, Anvita now faces one of the most crucial moments of her life proving that she can protect and provide for her family.

In the upcoming episodes, Sanjay (Rishi Saxena) takes a ruthless step by attacking Anvita's reputation to weaken her custody case against him for her siblings. With an aim to tarnish her character, Sanjay secretly plants a reporter during an event at Anvita’s café, this reporter publicly questions Anvita’s character and hints at an inappropriate closeness with Virat (Rajat Verma) her ex-boyfriend, leaving Anvita stunned as whispers and gossip begin to spread. With the custody hearing approaching, Anvita realizes this battle is no longer just about legal rights, but about protecting her dignity and proving that she can provide a stable and respectful life for her siblings. As the allegations threaten to damage her image, Anvita must find the strength to stand her ground and fight back.

Will Anvita be able to silence the allegations and win the custody battle for her siblings?

Sharing her thoughts on this phase, Sumbul Touqeer Khan says, “When I read this scene, what stood out to me was how quickly people start judging a woman’s character when she starts standing on her own. Anvita is put in a very uncomfortable situation where she’s questioned publicly and that sort of thing can shake anyone, but she refuses to let those allegations define her, instead of reacting with anger Anvita chooses to stand her ground and tell the truth. Personally, I’ve always felt strongly about how easily women are judged for their choices, so performing this moment felt very real to me. That quiet strength in Anvita is something I really connected with while shooting the scene.”

Tune in to watch Itti Si Khushi, every Monday to Saturday at 9:00 PM, only on Sony SAB

Bhabi aka Shubhangi Atre shares, “Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) has a strange
dream where he sees Angoori (Shubhangi Atre) sentenced to death. Anita
(Vidisha Srivastava) explains that dreaming of someone dying increases
their lifespan, but Vibhuti remains unconvinced and grows anxious about
Angoori’s safety. Meanwhile, Angoori puts Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour)
through a test of trust he passes. But things take a serious turn when
Amma (Soma Rathod) warns that Angoori’s life is in danger if not taken
into protective custody. Tiwari refuses to believe her. Soon after,
Angoori starts encountering a series of bizarre and life-threatening
accidents, and each time, it’s Vibhuti who ends up saving her. When he
confronts Tiwari about these close calls, Tiwari, though visibly shaken,
puts on a brave face and brushes off Vibhuti’s concerns. He even
pretends to be unaffected and suggests locking Angoori up for her
safety. Tiwari calls the police to his house under the pretext of
investigating a theft. During the search, the police find a stolen
bangle in Angoori’s cupboard. To everyone’s shock, Tiwari asks them to
arrest Angoori. Anita protests and suggests calling Amma for clarity,
but Amma ends up blaming Angoori! The police arrest her, and when
Vibhuti tries to interfere, they beat him up. Meanwhile, Teeka (Vaibhav
Mathur) and Malkhan (Vipin Heero) get hired by a contractor to dig a
water pipeline, but the blueprint is too complicated for them to
understand. Back at home, Tiwari is filled with guilt for falsely
implicating Angoori and even asks Masterji to punish him. Vibhuti is
distraught and emotionally blackmails Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi) to
let him feed Angoori at the police station. But when he offers her
parathas, Angoori refuses, saying, “Tiwari ji must not have eaten yet.”
Irritated, Vibhuti storms off to Tiwari’s house and force-feeds him the
parathas. Only then does he return to Angoori and convince her to eat.
Anita decides to bail Angoori out and hires Saxena (Saanand Verma) as
her lawyer. But Saxena, frustrated by Vibhuti’s impatience, refuses to
let him enter the courtroom. Meanwhile, Teeka and Malkhan dig in the
wrong direction, angering the contractor, who only calms down after Prem
(Vishwajeet Soni) intervenes. Back in court, just as the judge is about
to announce the verdict, Vibhuti rushes in and confesses that he was
the one who stole the bangle. The court sends both Vibhuti and Angoori
into police remand! Outside, Anita confides in Saxena that she plans to
break them out of jail. Tiwari overhears the plan and immediately
informs Happu. Anita enlists Teeka and Malkhan to dig a tunnel into the
lockup. But as soon as Vibhuti and Angoori crawl out, Happu Singh
arrests them again! How will Angoori and Vibhuti come out of prison?

Shruti Gholap on Playing Sumati in Jamai No.1: 'Daily Soaps Build a Deep Emotional Connection with the Audience'

Shruti Gholap, who essays the role of Sumati in Zee TV’s popular show
Jamai No.1 produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Stuido LSD, is
winning hearts with her grounded performance. In an exclusive
conversation, the talented actress opens up about the challenges of
television, the emotional bond actors form with their characters, how
she handles feedback—both online and at home—and what audiences can
expect from her character in the upcoming track.

Talking about the television industry’s demanding nature, Shruti shares,
“TV is a very demanding medium, no doubt. The schedules are hectic, but
the beauty of daily soaps lies in how they create a constant emotional
connect with viewers. When audiences see you every day, they start
feeling like they know you personally.”

Shruti believes that a strong emotional connection between the actor and
their character is essential. “When you live a character day in and day
out, their emotions become your own. That emotional involvement is
visible on screen, and sometimes, viewers start imitating or idealising
those traits. That’s a big responsibility.”

Shruti says that the most genuine feedback she receives is from her
parents. “My family is brutally honest when it comes to my work. Their
appreciation means the world to me. My parents notice the nuances of my
performance, and their encouragement keeps me going.”

While appreciation from fans is uplifting, social media can also be a
harsh place. Shruti admits, “Trolling and negativity are part of the
package. I’ve learned to not let it affect me. If there’s constructive
criticism, I take it. But unnecessary negativity? I just ignore it. I
don’t believe in giving energy to things that disturb my peace.”

Giving a sneak peek into what’s ahead, Shruti reveals, “The upcoming
track will be very engaging. Sumati’s character will face some emotional
and moral dilemmas, which will test her strength. There will also be
major twists that will impact the entire family dynamic.”

Vanga’s popular film Kabir Singh, shares his memories from the shooting.
”I had an absolutely fantastic time shooting for Kabir Singh. I must
mention that it is a landmark film in my filmography. The entire shoot
had an amazing vibe and we all felt that the film was going to work—and
it did, becoming a massive blockbuster. Shahid and I knew each other
from before but had never worked together. During the shooting of the
film, we developed a great camaraderie, he’s a fantastic actor and a
great guy. Working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga was also a wonderful
experience; we became friends after the film. The film had amazing
music, strong characters, and it feels great to be part of a story that
people continue to watch and talk about even today.”Interestingly
the film is still very popular, especially on social media. There are
so many reels using scenes and dialogues from the film. The film still
trends on social media. On this Arjan adds, ”It’s a wonderful feeling to
see that even after so many years, people are still making reels and
memes from the film. One of the scenes where we fight like children is
often turned into a meme, and that’s just one example. Many dialogues
and scenes from the film continue to resonate. It shows how deeply the
film connected with people, and I feel lucky to have been part of
something so impactful.” The film also faced a lot of controversy
after its release. There were reviews and social media reactions which
generated doubts on whether the film would succeed or not. Arjan shares
his opinion on this as well. ”Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
We live in a world where freedom of speech and expression is very
important. So, if some people didn’t like the film or had issues with
it, that’s absolutely their right. But looking at the bigger picture,
the amount of love the film received from audiences was overwhelming. It
did phenomenal business at the box office, and touched a chord with
millions of people that's what stands out the most for me.” On

She holds her ground as a woman, a mother, a daughter, a professional, and above all, as a soul who refuses to be defined by others. At a time when television is saturated with drama for drama’s sake, Anupamaa dares to tell a different story—one of self-respect, emotional intelligence, and evolving womanhood. This isn’t just a show. It’s a quiet revolution. From being taken for granted in her own household to becoming an entrepreneur and emotional anchor for her children, Anupamaa's journey is not just inspirational—it’s relatable. She represents every woman who has been silenced in the noise of responsibilities, every mother who puts herself last, and every individual who was told "it’s too late" to start over. What makes her journey powerful isn’t that she suddenly becomes a rebel. It’s that she chooses compassion even while setting boundaries. She listens more than she speaks, but when she speaks, it’s with clarity and courage. And when she chooses herself, it’s not out of selfishness but survival.Recent episodes have beautifully shown Anupamaa navigating not just external challenges but her inner transformation. Whether it’s her renewed relationship with her children, her struggles to balance work and personal life, or her evolving connection with Anuj, it’s all layered with emotional truth. The writers of the show deserve credit for not rushing her progress. Growth in Anupamaa is slow, often painful, but always authentic. Because real life doesn’t change in one episode—and that’s exactly why this show touches millions. What also sets Anupamaa apart is how it doesn’t paint women as perfect or men as villains. Every character is flawed, every situation layered. That’s where the beauty lies. In the grey. In the everyday. In the decision to rise, no matter how many times you fall.So when Anupamaa speaks, she speaks for a generation. Not the loud, rebellious one—but the silent warriors who’ve waited too long to be heard. As her journey unfolds, one truth becomes evident: The real empowerment begins not when the world sees your worth, but when you do.And that’s why Anupamaa is more than just a name. She’s a movement.

Akshay Nalawade Opens Up on Typecasting Due to Athletic Build

Mumbai: Actor Akshay Nalawade, known for his powerful portrayals of Garud Dev in Shiv Shakti: Tap Tyag Tandav and Kakbhushundi in Ramayan, revealed that his athletic build has been both a blessing and a limitation in his acting career.
“I have faced some typecasting due to my athletic build. I often get roles related to action or tough characters, especially warriors in mythological shows. But that’s just one aspect; otherwise, I’ve played a variety of roles throughout my career,” he shared.
Akshay also spoke about his rooted approach to storytelling, emphasising that challenging societal norms through his work has never been his goal. “I truly believe in our culture, religion, generation, and region. Everyone has their own set of beliefs, and I would never want to hurt them in any way through my acting. If I ever portray such a character, I would ensure it doesn’t hurt anyone’s sentiments,” he added.
Passionate about India’s heritage, Akshay expressed his desire to bring stories of unsung heroes to the screen. “I’m a proud desh bhakt (patriot). I feel we know so little about our real-life heroes—our kings, our history. Today, people often know more about other countries than their own. Cinema can be a powerful medium to teach, learn, and showcase the beauty of India, both past and present,” he said.
Looking ahead, Akshay dreams of playing characters rooted in real stories that reflect the nation’s rich history and cultural pride.

Sometimes, a story finds its destiny long before the cameras roll. For Jab Khuli Kitaab, that journey began on stage, travelled through years of creative intent, and has now arrived on screen, coming full circle in what can only be described as a creative homecoming.

written and directed by Saurabh Shukla, the film is Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Shoestring Film Production and releases on 6th March on ZEE5. What makes its journey especially compelling is its origin: the film is adapted from Shukla’s own acclaimed stage play of the same name, which was originally presented under Aadyam, an initiative by the Aditya Birla Group. It was the strength of its writing, humour and emotional depth that caught Applause’s attention. Recognising the story’s wider appeal, the studio greenlit the story for the screen . Interestingly, the story’s journey has come full circle.

Saurabh Shukla reveals that the idea of adapting the play for cinema had always existed in his mind. “When Sameer approached me saying they’d like to adapt it into a film, I didn’t need convincing. While writing it, I had always imagined it visually, almost like it was already unfolding on screen. The play was one form, but cinema was always part of its destiny.”

Sameer Nair, Managing Director of Applause Entertainment shares, “As producers, our instinct is always to back stories that stay with you long after they end, and Jab Khuli Kitaab had that rare quality from the first reading. We trusted its voice, its characters, and its emotional truth. Bringing it from stage to screen felt less like a decision and more like a natural evolution, especially given its roots within our larger creative family.”

Presented by Applause Entertainment, a Shoestrap Films Production, Jab Khuli Kitaab premieres March 6 on ZEE5, proving that powerful stories don’t change when they shift mediums, they simply find new ways to open up.

Rooted in this timeless prayer, Ardaas: Sarbat De Bhale Di — the third chapter of the much-loved Ardaas franchise — is now streaming on Chaupal, offering Punjabi audiences a meaningful cinematic experience that resonates across generations.

Originally released in theatres in September 2024, the film’s arrival on Chaupal comes as a welcome surprise for Punjabi cinema lovers, especially those who missed its theatrical run or wish to revisit it in the comfort of their homes. With its strong emotional core and universal values, the film stands out as a rare family watch in today’s content-heavy landscape.

Starring Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jasmine Bhasin and Prince Kanwaljit, Ardaas: Sarbat De Bhale Di brings together an ensemble cast to tell interconnected stories of ordinary individuals burdened by guilt — each having committed a mistake that continues to weigh on their conscience. United not by circumstance but by remorse, these characters turn to faith, seeking forgiveness and the courage to accept their own flaws.

Rather than passing judgement, the film asks viewers to reflect. It questions how easily society condemns others while overlooking its own shortcomings, and how the desire for forgiveness often applies only to oneself. Through layered storytelling and emotionally grounded performances, the narrative gently reminds audiences that acknowledging one’s mistakes is the first step towards healing.

Gippy Grewal leads the film with sincerity and restraint, while Gurpreet Ghuggi once again delivers a performance marked by depth and emotional honesty. Jasmine Bhasin and Prince Kanwaljit add further nuance to the narrative, making the film relatable across age groups and family dynamics.

As the third instalment in the Ardaas series, the film carries forward the franchise’s legacy of socially conscious storytelling — focusing on faith, accountability, forgiveness and empathy — values that make it particularly suited for family viewing. It is a film that invites conversations, reflection, and shared moments, making it ideal to watch together with loved ones.

With the streaming premiere of Ardaas: Sarbat De Bhale Di, Chaupal continues to strengthen its position as a platform that champions impactful Punjabi cinema, offering stories that go beyond entertainment to touch the conscience.

Ardaas: Sarbat De Bhale Di is now streaming exclusively on Chaupal.

As the year wraps up, one platform that undeniably defined Punjabi entertainment in 2025 is Chaupal — the only dedicated Punjabi OTT service that has worked consistently, quietly, and tirelessly to keep regional cinema at the centre of the digital conversation.

While the mainstream OTT ecosystem has long been dominated by Hindi and English content, Chaupal stood apart by building a space where Punjabi stories, artists, and culture are not just showcased but truly celebrated. And 2025 turned out to be its strongest year yet.

Chaupal took a major leap this year by bringing some of Amrinder Gill’s most-loved films to OTT for the first time, marking a milestone moment for fans across the globe. Titles like Chal Mera Putt 2, Mittran Da Challeya Truck Ni, and Daaru Na Peenda Hove found a new life online, drawing massive viewership from India, Canada, the UK, the US, and Australia — regions where Punjabi cinema enjoys unparalleled love.

But the biggest moment is yet to come. Chaupal is set to kick-start the new year with Chhalla Mud Ke Ni Aaya, one of the most awaited Punjabi films in recent years — a release audiences have been waiting for since long. The announcement alone created a wave of excitement, with fans calling it “the return they waited years for.” For a platform rooted in regional storytelling, this release is more than a milestone — it is a cultural moment.

Beyond Amrinder Gill’s slate, Chaupal delivered a remarkably strong year with a mix of big-ticket entertainers and deeply rooted dramas. Films like Jodi, led by Diljit Dosanjh, continued to attract viewers with its musical charm. Parmish Verma’s Tabaah brought a darker, more intense flavour to the platform, while Sarbala Ji, starring Gippy Grewal and Ammy Virk, emerged as one of the year’s most widely discussed commercial releases. The franchise favourite Nikka Zaildar 4, featuring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, also made its digital debut, adding to Chaupal’s festive-season momentum. Audiences gravitated towards emotional narratives like Guru Nanak Jahaz, while the comedy Phaphey Kuttniya offered a refreshing break amid heavier titles.

Alongside these films, Chaupal continued to strengthen its original storytelling. 84 To Baad, the platform’s original series, stood out for its powerful narrative and distinct voice, earning praise for exploring a sensitive chapter of Punjab’s history with maturity and emotional depth.

What became evident in 2025 is that Chaupal has successfully built an ecosystem where every kind of Punjabi viewer finds something to connect with — whether it is a mass entertainer, a family drama, a romantic story, or a narrative rooted in lived realities. More importantly, the platform has remained loyal to its core mission of promoting regional voices at a time when the OTT space is increasingly crowded.

With the momentum of 2025 behind it, Chaupal is already gearing up for a promising 2026. The platform will continue to focus strongly on its originals, with titles like Shahi Majra 2, Pardhaan, Panchi 2, and Shikari 3 set to expand Chaupal’s storytelling universe further.

In a year defined by shifting viewing habits, Chaupal emerged not merely as a streaming platform, but as a cultural bridge — connecting Punjabi audiences across continents while staying deeply rooted in the language, emotions, and lived realities of Punjab. As the new year begins, Chaupal moves forward with clarity and conviction, carrying stories that feel familiar, voices that feel authentic, and a belief that Punjabi storytelling — when told with honesty — will always find its way home.

Chaupal brings Madhaniyan, a Punjabi family drama that looks beyond romance to explore the emotional complexities of sibling bonds, cultural differences, and the difficult choices that come with love.

The film follows the journey of a woman who steps into the role of a guardian after the loss of her mother, becoming both emotional anchor and caretaker to her younger brother. Over the years, their bond grows stronger, shaped by responsibility, dependence, and deep affection. However, this carefully balanced relationship is tested when she chooses to follow her heart and falls in love with a man from a very different background.

Also Read : Babbu Maan’s Shaunki Sardar Streams on Chaupal, Celebrating Punjabi Brotherhood

Set against the contrast of an urban upbringing and a traditional village environment, Madhaniyan captures the tensions that arise when two families with opposing worldviews attempt to come together. The groom belongs to a rooted, rural household, while the bride comes from a modern, city-bred family. What should be a union of love soon turns into a source of emotional conflict, particularly for the brother, whose protective instincts and rigid beliefs make it difficult for him to accept the relationship.

Rather than focusing solely on the romance, the film places the sibling relationship at its emotional centre. The clash between the sister’s desire for independence and happiness and the brother’s sense of duty and control creates moments of strain, misunderstanding, and quiet heartbreak. Through these conflicts, the story reflects a familiar reality where love within families often struggles against pride, fear, and social conditioning.

Starring Neeru Bajwa, Dev Kharoud, Nav Bajwa, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Poonam Dhillon, and Nirmal Rishi, Madhaniyan brings together performers who add depth and sincerity to this emotionally driven narrative. Each character represents a different perspective within the family structure, making the story feel grounded and relatable.

Directed by Nav Bajwa, the film presents a portrait of Punjabi family life where marriage is never just about two individuals, but about expectations, emotional history, and cultural identity. Madhaniyan speaks to viewers who have witnessed similar conflicts within their own families, making it a story that resonates beyond the screen.

With Madhaniyan, Chaupal continues to showcase Punjabi films that reflect real relationships and social dynamics. The film is now available to stream on Chaupal, offering audiences an emotionally engaging story that balances tradition, change, and the enduring power of family bonds.

Chaupal has released the Punjabi film Shaunki Sardar, a drama that foregrounds brotherhood, human values, and emotional integrity through a grounded and realistic narrative. The film steers away from spectacle-driven storytelling and instead focuses on relationships, moral responsibility, and the quiet strength of standing by one’s principles.

Headlined by Babbu Maan, Shaunki Sardar has struck a strong chord with audiences, especially following his acclaimed film Hashar. His performance in the film has been widely appreciated for its restraint, depth, and authenticity. Portraying a man guided by dignity, loyalty, and ethical conviction, Maan anchors the film emotionally and reinforces its central theme of brotherhood.

At its core, Shaunki Sardar explores the idea of brotherhood—highlighting trust, solidarity, and standing together in times of adversity. The narrative reflects how shared values and relationships define true strength, emphasising patience and moral choices over aggression or confrontation.

Guru Randhawa appears in a pivotal role, with Shaunki Sardar emerging as a successful project in his acting journey. The film has been well received by audiences for his performance and screen presence, making it a notable milestone for him beyond his music career.

The film also marks the first OTT appearance of Nimrat Kaur Ahluwalia. Her role adds emotional balance and sensitivity to the storyline, contributing meaningfully to the film’s emotional arc rather than serving as a mere supporting presence.

Visually rooted in Punjab, Shaunki Sardar uses understated dialogue, realistic settings, and a measured pace that allows emotions to unfold organically. The film relies on character-driven storytelling and simplicity to leave a lasting impression.

With its focus on brotherhood, values, and emotionally grounded performances, Shaunki Sardar offers a thoughtful Punjabi cinematic experience and is currently streaming on Chaupal.
