Cutters Shine as Dream League of India Chhattisgarh Trials Wrap Up in Raipur
Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], December 29, 2025: The Chhattisgarh leg of the Dream League of India (DLI) trials concluded in Raipur on Friday, witnessing enthusiastic participation from aspiring tennis-ball cricketers and highlighting the region’s growing passion for the sport.
Held at the SECRSA Stadium, Khamtarai, the trials attracted players from across Chhattisgarh in both Junior (13–18 years) and Senior (18 years & above) categories, as participants showcased their skills in a competitive and high-energy environment.
The Raipur trials stood out for the impressive performances by bowlers, particularly those specializing in variations and cutters, which posed a stern challenge for batters throughout the day.
Among the batting performances, one young batter caught the selectors’ attention with a remarkable six struck off the back foot, reflecting confidence, timing, and power.
Speaking after the conclusion of the trials, Founder of Dream League of India and former cricketer Chetanya Nanda said:
